19.08.2026 06:04In Odessa, an employee of a territorial recruitment center (TCC) attacked a boy who had been throwing stones at a military recruitment officers’ minibus the day before.
Video of the incident spread through local Telegram channels.
According to the first clip, several teenagers were throwing stones at a white minibus belonging to TCC employees. The following day, a second recording appeared online showing a recruitment officer catching one of the boys and beginning to strangle him. The child tried to break free and pushed the attacker away.
The TCC of Odessa Oblast responded to the spread of the video and promised to conduct an “urgent internal investigation” into the conflict. At the same time, in its official statement the agency does not acknowledge the involvement of its employee in the incident, referring to the attacker as “a person in military uniform.”
The outlet had previously reported on similar incidents in Ukraine: during mobilization in Lviv, a recruitment officer strangled a woman; in Novovolynsk, recruitment officers beat a man together with his son; and in Chernivtsi, police drove into a cyclist in order to mobilize him.
