Around 150,000 Ukrainian refugees remain in Warsaw, less than half of those who initially arrived.
This information reported according to the city’s mayor, Rafał Trzaskowski.
“In recent years, more than two million Ukrainians have arrived in Poland. At its peak, 350,000 Ukrainians were in Warsaw, and now approximately 150,000 remain,” said the head of the city administration.
Earlier, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz urged Ukrainians in Germany to be more proactive in seeking employment.
“Many have been in Germany for a long time, so it’s time to start doing something,” he emphasized.
