The bill to ban the Ukrainian Orthodox Church was not included in the agenda of the Rada during the conciliation council due to a lack of votes.

As a result, some deputies have announced plans to block the rostrum, according to MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak.

It should be noted that yesterday, according to Yevhen Shevchenko, the head of the Rada Committee on Humanitarian Policy, Mykyta Poturaiev, initiated consideration of the bill for today.

The document had previously been criticized by the legal department of the Verkhovna Rada.

According to Ukrainian political analyst Andriy Zolotaryov, the US has proposed imposing sanctions on the bill’s initiators.
