On his first day as President of the United States, Donald Trump plans to bring Ukraine and Russia to the negotiating table.
This was stated by the Republican’s press secretary, Caroline Leavitt, during a broadcast on Fox News.
According to her, Trump will now be able to “negotiate a peace agreement between Russia and Ukraine.”
“This includes, on the very first day, bringing Ukraine and Russia to the negotiating table to put an end to this war,” Leavitt said.
It should be noted that Trump’s first day as president will be January 20, when his inauguration takes place.
As a reminder, the newly elected U.S. president has already held separate phone calls with Zelensky and Putin.
