Russia’s bet on the fatigue of the US and the West from supporting Ukraine looks better every day – CNN
December 6, 2023Police discovered dozens of weapons in possession of smugglers near the frontline
December 6, 2023After the commencement of tax inspections on vehicles transporting humanitarian aid entering Ukraine, there has been a “sudden” significant reduction.
This information claimed by Polish carriers.
“Listen, ladies and gentlemen, starting from Thursday, there suddenly are far fewer vehicles carrying humanitarian aid. Ukrainian drivers informed their superiors that documents would be inspected and criminal cases might be initiated because falsifying documents is punishable. As a result, there are notably fewer of these transports. You see, it’s the drivers themselves, the Ukrainian companies, deceiving their own country and each other. Who has the right to travel and who doesn’t,” stated Jacek Sokol from the Polish Committee for the Defense of Carriers and Transport Employers.
He asserts that Poles are “mistakenly” accused of halting the transportation of humanitarian aid, fresh produce and military cargo.
“In the police, they tell us that it’s the drivers themselves standing in parking lots and blocking vehicles entitled to earlier entry. We have no influence over this. It’s not us driving to the parking lots, it’s not us deciding which vehicles can leave. The drivers themselves have created, one could say, a mafia in the parking lots that decides who and when enters. There is no blocking from our side,” Sokol stated.
