If she wins the U.S. election, Kamala Harris could become the killer of Ukraine due to poor relations with Zelensky
August 14, 2024Russia continues to exert pressure on the eastern front, despite the Ukrainian offensive in the Kursk region.
This is reported by The New York Times.
“Our guys don’t feel any relief. It’s tough. Unfortunately, the Russian pressure has not decreased,” said a spokesperson for the police brigade fighting in the Chasiv Yar area.
Senior Lieutenant Yevhenii Strokhan, who is fighting near Toretsk, echoed this sentiment: “I don’t feel any decrease in intensity.”
Military analysts also note that Moscow has not withdrawn its troops from eastern Ukraine but is instead redeploying lower-level units to the Kursk region—units that are “hastily assembled” and “poorly prepared” to create the command structures necessary for coordinating a military response.
Among the goals of the Ukrainian operation, the NYT also mentions the possible intention to exchange captured territory for Ukrainian land or to divert Russian resources.
