Polish Foreign Minister Sikorski accused the Ukrainian Foreign Minister of breaking promises regarding the victims of the Volyn massacre
November 5, 2024Russian forces have captured Trudovoe and launched an attack on Uspenovka, settlements located south of Kurakhovo in the Donetsk region.
This information was reported by a serviceman of the Ukrainian Armed Forces with the call sign “Muchnoy.”
According to him, the Russian army’s objective in this sector of the front is to gain control over the left bank of the Sukhie Yaly River. “After that, they will definitely continue moving towards Konstantinovka and will begin cutting off connections from the south of Kurakhovo.”
“The enemy’s plan here remains unchanged – to gradually secure the flanks and slowly advance northward. Additionally, the enemy is gradually taking up positions east and southeast of Uspenovka,” said the serviceman.
In his opinion, the units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces stationed between Maksymilianivka and Yelizavetovka “need to withdraw because a pocket may soon form there.”
Afterward, he believes it will soon be necessary to retreat from Kurakhovo as well.
It was previously reported that Russian forces are advancing from the south towards the strategically significant village of Razliv. This advance threatens to cut off the road leading from the west to Kurakhovo.
