Hearings initiated in Serbian parliament over possible arms supplies to Ukraine — lawmakers demand clarity from the authorities
30.06.2025 - 10:00Slovakia says a way must be found to cooperate with Russia, and possibly forgive everything that has happened.
This was stated by Slovak Foreign Minister Juraj Blanár, as reported by Denník N.
According to him, the conflict between Russia and NATO could escalate into a third world war.
“We do not want a war between Russia and NATO, because that would be a third world war. We want the conflict to be resolved peacefully,” Blanár added.
In response, Ukraine’s Deputy Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha said that “those who have not lost anyone in this war have no right to make such statements.”
“Juraj, the feeling of impunity is the main reason for Russia’s crimes. It is naive to expect that a criminal will stop their actions if their crimes are forgiven rather than punished. Russia will strike the other cheek as well. And those who have not lost anyone in this war have no right to make such statements,” Sybiha wrote.
It is worth noting that just recently Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico stated that he has no intention of speaking with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, as he “hates him.”
