Hungarians see Ukraine as a greater threat than Russia
05.07.2024 - 15:25Ukrainian border guards will start checking the military registration documents of all men aged 18-60 starting from July 17, when the deadline for updating data at territorial recruitment centers expires.
This was announced by Andriy Demchenko, the spokesperson for the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.
During the check, even those who have the right to deferment will be required to show their documents, which can be either paper or electronic.
“In the absence of a military registration document, border guards will refuse to allow the crossing of the state border to leave Ukraine,” Demchenko warned.
Another basis for refusal to leave Ukraine will be the presence of information in the Unified State Register of Conscripts, Military Obliged and Reservists about a person being wanted by the police. Citizens who are being sought by the police at the request of territorial recruitment centers will be handed over to law enforcement.
Apart from these checks, the categories of citizens allowed to leave Ukraine under the border crossing rules remain unchanged.
Recently, the application “Reserv+” added the current status of reservation. To update the data, users need to click the three dots to the right of the document and select the “Update document” option.
Amid the tightening of exit rules, there has been a significant increase in attempts to illegally transport large groups of men across the border in recent times.
