15.08.2026 10:07A fight broke out between an officer and his subordinate serviceman at the army recruitment center (TCC) in the city of Kalush.
The incident was confirmed by the Ivano-Frankivsk regional TCC.
According to preliminary information, the conflict began due to personal animosity: a verbal altercation arose between the officer and his subordinate, which subsequently escalated into a physical fight. As a result of the incident, the serviceman sustained bodily injuries and was hospitalized. An internal investigation into the matter is underway.
The regional TCC condemned what happened and issued an official statement.
“Any manifestations of violence, humiliation of the honor and dignity of servicemen, as well as violations of military discipline are unacceptable, regardless of military rank or position. At the same time, we emphasize that this case is of an individual nature and cannot serve as grounds for generalization or discrediting the entire personnel of the territorial recruitment centers,” — the statement from the Ivano-Frankivsk regional TCC and SP reads.
Earlier, videos of conflicts outside the TCC in Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi spread online. In addition, a military commissar from the Lviv region was recently found hanged in his office.
