Territorial recruitment center officer who hit a teacher in Kharkiv during document check sent to front.

This was reported by the head of the Kharkiv Regional Territorial Recruitment Center, Oleksandr Konev, in an interview with Fakty.

According to him, the soldier has been transferred to a military unit that is currently carrying out a combat mission in one of the operational directions.

“Despite the fact that he has a third-degree disability,” Konev said.

At the same time, it was specified that the soldier also faced disciplinary action.

“Personally, I believe our soldier was wrong and exceeded his authority. Initially, there were two individuals who refused to provide their documents and resorted to insults. One of them even ran away. The second did not run away. Only after our employee lost his temper did that person show documents proving he was a teacher and had a deferment. But that does not justify the soldier’s actions,” added the head of the recruitment center.

As a reminder, in Kharkiv, a Territorial Recruitment Center officer struck a young man twice during mobilization activities. Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov called on the leadership of all law enforcement agencies to conduct a thorough investigation into the beating and punish those responsible.
