The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has published an explanation regarding the cancellation of the ‘limited fitness’ status

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has issued an explanation of what the cancellation of the status “limited fitness for military service” means. Conscription-age individuals who were assigned this status must now undergo a military medical examination.

This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine on Telegram.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky signed Law No. 3621-IX, which, among other things, provides for the cancellation of the “limited fitness for military service” status.

Citizens who were previously recognized as “limitedly fit” must undergo a repeat medical examination by February 4, 2025, during which they will be classified as either fit or unfit.

Within three months, the Cabinet of Ministers must approve an updated list of diseases for determining fitness/unfitness.

It is worth noting that recently, Zelensky signed a law reducing the conscription age from 27 to 25 years.
