The next two weeks will be ‘very difficult’ for Chasov Yar, – military source

The next two weeks in Chasovoy Yar will be “very difficult.” Russian forces have deployed assault squads to the city and distributed them to shelters and trenches ahead of a massive attack.

This was reported by Ukrainian political expert Kirill Sazonov, who is involved in the conflict in this area.

Sazonov writes that while some Russian units are attacking the city head-on, incurring losses, others are bypassing Chasovoy Yar from the flanks to gain control over the logistics of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. According to him, roads are “being shot up” in some places.

“They haven’t achieved critical results for us on the flanks, but they are advancing little by little. Because they have enough people for all of this,” writes the military expert. “And specifically right now, the next couple of weeks will just be very difficult. Everyone is aware, everyone understands the situation, we’re working,” Sazonov added.

It was recently reported that Russia plans to capture the Chasovoy Yar height to advance in the Donetsk region.

Recall that the Special Forces of the Main Intelligence Directorate were deployed to Chasovoy Yar to halt the breakthrough of Russian forces.
