‘Russia will continue to advance as long as there is a ‘window of opportunity’ for it’, – French general

Until American aid arrives in Ukraine, the “window of opportunity for an offensive” remains open for the Russian army—thus, “the Russians will try to take advantage of this moment of weakness, and we can expect further successes on their part in the coming weeks.”

This forecast was voiced by French General Nicolas Richou in an interview with L’Express.

According to him, Kiev suffers not only from the tardiness of the United States but also from internal problems, including a lack of human resources and “structural instability in industry,” in other words—dependency on Western aid.

As the general notes, Russia does not suffer from such problems, which means it has and will have the opportunity to continue offensive actions, regardless of external factors.
