‘The Russian army was able to advance towards Kostyantynivka in the Kurakhove direction’, – Ukrainian Armed Forces officer said

The Russian army managed to advance towards Konstantinovka in the Kurakhovo direction.

This was stated by a Ukrainian Armed Forces officer with the call sign “Alex.”

He commented on the widely circulated video from yesterday showing strikes on a Russian column with equipment advancing in the Novomikhailovka area.

Officially, the General Staff reports that the Defense Forces are allegedly continuing to hold back the enemy in the areas of Krasnohorivka, Konstantinovka and Paraskoviivka, where there were 16 breakthrough attempts.

However, the military officer writes that the enemy has made some gains, and the battle for Konstantinovka has effectively begun.

The Russian Ministry of Defense claims that their group, under the cover of tanks, captured a stronghold of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Konstantinovka area, complicating Ukrainian logistics on the Vuhledar section of the front.

Russian social media channels reported that their troops advanced north of Konstantinovka, in the vicinity of the village of Pobeda.

Konstantinovka is of significant importance as it is located on the road between Vuhledar and Maryinka, as well as on the southeastern approaches to Kurakhovo.
