‘Ukrainians have no choice but to endure’ – Former US Air Force Colonel said
08.04.2024 - 05:03Ukraine expects Russia to intensify its offensive actions towards the end of spring or the beginning of summer, primarily near Donetsk.
“Russians will move slightly towards Chasove Yar. They will move towards the city of Pokrovsk, the strategic direction of Pokrovsk,” said Budanov.
At the same time, he believes that there will be no significant changes on the front line before the expected Russian offensive begins.
“The situation is quite complicated, but it is under control,” he added.
Unlike many military experts, Kirill Budanov does not rule out a Ukrainian offensive this year. However, he declined to elaborate on this topic, citing that the responsibility for this sphere lies with the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Recall that earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that Russia might initiate an offensive at the end of spring or the beginning of summer.
