The State Bureau of Investigations of Ukraine reported on ‘a large-scale media discredit campaign’ being prepared against the Bureau by a deputy and their associates

The State Bureau of Investigations of Ukraine asserts that Member of Parliament Alexander Dubinsky and his associates are preparing for an imminent “large-scale media special operation to discredit” the Bureau.

This statement comes from the press service of the State Bureau of Investigations of Ukraine.

It’s mentioned that the group responsible for this has already been exposed.

“The State Bureau of Investigations, in conjunction with the Security Service of Ukraine, revealed this criminal organization in November of this year. Its composition included current and former members of parliament, an assistant to one of them, and a former prosecutor,” the statement reads.

Although the name of the current MP isn’t specified, it’s claimed that they were arrested by the Pechersk court for “information subversion in favor of Russia” and state treason. This aligns with the description of Dubinsky, who previously criticized the leadership of the State Bureau of Investigations of Ukraine.

Now, according to the Bureau, the suspects in this case “plan to spread fakes about the progress of the pre-trial investigation against them, claiming alleged political persecution.”
