The territorial recruitment center can mobilize even those with reservations if they did not report their reservation – court ruling

A territorial recruitment center can mobilize even those who are exempt if they did not inform about their exemption.

This conclusion was made by the Zakarpattia District Administrative Court.

An exempt and unsuitable man filed a lawsuit against border guards who detained him at the border and sent him to the territorial recruitment center, from where he was sent to a military unit.

The man stated that at the military medical commission, his complaints and the fact of his registration at the territorial recruitment center as unsuitable were not taken into account.

The recruitment center stated that the man did not inform them of his status, did not provide documents and there was no information about it in the “Oberig” system.

The court ruled that those with exemptions or deferrals from conscription are required to notify the recruitment center themselves “by taking active steps to inform the recruitment center in the appropriate manner.”
