The administration of U.S. President Donald Trump is taking away from Ukraine a key technology used to combat drones.

This was reported by The Wall Street Journal.

Last week, the Pentagon “quietly” notified Congress that special fuzes for missiles—which Ukraine uses to shoot down Russian drones—will be redirected to American troops in the Middle East.

The Pentagon stated that the U.S. military’s need for these fuzes is “an urgent issue identified by the Secretary of Defense.”

According to WSJ, this “indicates a weakening of the Pentagon’s commitment to Kyiv’s defense” and also “illustrates a shortage of critical defense supplies.”

Previously, Western media reported that Russia is capable of producing more ballistic missiles than the U.S. can produce interceptor missiles for the Patriot air defense system.
