‘Thanking the warrior, but not sharing his sinful inclinations’: Filaret revoked his award to a military gay man
26.02.2024 15:33The situation on the battlefield for Ukrainians is very difficult. Right now, they must at least strive to slow down the Russian advance. But without significant replenishment of the personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, this is impossible. The front will begin to collapse by the end of spring, said General Jirzhi Shedivy in an interview with Lidovky.
“If Ukrainians do not mobilize quickly enough, the critical moment will come very soon. Already, the Russians are advancing past Avdiivka further to the west… So the situation on the front is very difficult. If Zelensky fails to do this, the front may start to collapse by the end of spring,” he noted.
The Czech general is also convinced that if the Ukrainian army can at least minimally hold back the Russian onslaught and not lose many new territories, it will already be a success for Kyiv. There is no talk at all of reclaiming the previous territories of Ukraine. In addition, another goal of Russia, according to the general, is Odessa, but Moscow’s army is unlikely to storm Kyiv again.
