Migration and mortality: Ukraine’s population could decrease to 25 million people
29.03.2024 11:06Head of the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dmytro Kuleba, has arrived in India and is attempting to “separate it from Moscow.”
This is reported by the Financial Times.
The Ukrainian Foreign Minister urged New Delhi to support Ukraine and “rethink the Soviet legacy” of relations with Russia, which is already “evaporating.”
He believes that Indians should be concerned about Russia’s deepening ties with China, which has a border conflict with India in the Himalayas.
Kuleba stated that India stands to benefit greatly from expanding trade and technological ties with Ukraine, and he offered Indian companies participation in Ukraine’s post-war reconstruction.
Furthermore, according to him, Ukraine seeks to restore trade with India by resuming the export of agricultural products and increasing imports of Indian goods, particularly heavy machinery.
It is worth noting that recently India has reduced its purchase of Russian oil, fearing Western sanctions.
