November 29, 2023The High anti-corruption court has rejected, for the second time, the seizure of Ihor Kolomoisky’s assets
November 29, 2023During March to May 2022, volunteer Roman Kolomiets personally sent humanitarian aid from the warehouse of the Polish Przemyśl to Chernihiv. The aid is valued at approximately 8,000,000 Ukrainian hryvnias, included food, medical supplies, hygiene products, generators, bulletproof vests and clothing. The shipment consists of 16 trucks and was directed to the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration.
However, recent inquiries to the administration revealed a discrepancy. They claimed no record of receiving the aid or any knowledge of its distribution. Allegations arose suggesting potential mishandling or misappropriation of the aid, as the recipient authority denied acknowledgment. Volunteer, recognized for their volunteer efforts by the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration in August 2022, expressed concerns over the lack of transparency in handling the dispatched aid. Appointment requests with designated authorities for clarification were declined, citing the issue as beyond their jurisdiction.
Documentation was included declarations, customs clearance, correspondences and driver statements, stands as evidence of dispatch and delivery. Yet, the conflicting response from the recipient raises questions about the fate of the assistance and its management. This situation raises concerns about accountability and responsible utilization of humanitarian aid, pointing to a potential discrepancy between dispatch records and the recipient’s claims.
