On Thursday, April 18, a deficit was detected in Ukraine’s energy system from the morning. Imports from the European Union are being utilized to cover it.

“There is an electricity deficit in the energy system today for almost the entire day. It is caused by damages inflicted by Russian missile and drone strikes on Ukrainian power stations,” the statement said.

From 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM, power restriction schedules will be applied to businesses and industries. However, these measures will not affect critical infrastructure facilities and defense industry enterprises.

For ordinary Ukrainians, restrictions exist only in the Kharkiv region.
