Ukraine has enough diesel to last until the end of March; April remains uncertain

Ukraine has enough diesel fuel to last until the end of March, but supplies for April remain uncertain amid rising prices.

This was reported by Reuters, citing analysts from the consulting company Enkorr.

The analysts said that diesel supplies to the Ukrainian market are secured through the end of March, and that daily imports have risen by 3% to nearly 17,000 metric tons. However, supplies for April remain uncertain because of rising prices.

At the current rate of imports, the total monthly volume could reach 522,000 tons in March, which is almost the same as in March 2025.

However, according to Enkorr, the situation for April remains unclear, since suppliers are postponing decisions until the last possible moment.

As one trader told the publication, wholesale diesel prices have jumped by nearly 50% in less than a month because of the war in the Middle East. If the fighting continues, prices will rise even further.
