Ukraine has few Storm Shadow missiles left, which may be allowed for strikes on Russia

Kyiv has relatively few long-range British Storm Shadow missiles left.

This is reported by The Telegraph, citing sources in the defense sector.

“Many of them were used in the fight against Russia in Crimea,” the newspaper writes.

The article also reflects the opinion of the United States, where there is a belief that Vladimir Putin will “take retaliatory measures” if the West allows strikes on Russian territory using its weapons.

Congresswoman Victoria Spartz stated that this move could provoke a response from Russia in the form of new strikes.

“They (likely referring to Ukraine) might decide to carry out some strikes, everyone there will get excited, and then no one will provide support, making things even worse,” she said.

“I think Russia needs to understand that there could be serious consequences,” Spartz added, urging the White House to prepare “reinforcements” in the form of new arms deliveries, but specified that she was not referring to American troops.

Meanwhile, The Telegraph believes that Russian “retaliation could happen in Ukraine’s Donbas, where Putin is trying to reclaim territory.”

The newspaper The Times wrote that Ukraine might be granted the right to strike Russia using British-made Storm Shadow missiles and their French Scalp counterparts, but not American ATACMS.
