Ukraine has practically been left without Western support; the situation is critical

The Western support for Ukraine is at a ‘critical stage,’ said the Chancellor of Germany, Scholz, in an interview with RND.

According to him, EU countries should significantly increase their assistance to Kyiv, as currently more than half comes from Germany alone, which has pledged seven billion euros to Ukraine this year. He made these remarks during a speech at a conference of European delegates of the Social Democratic Party of Germany, as reported by RND.

“It cannot be right that Germany has such a large share. The message to Putin should be that he should not expect European and American support for Ukraine to diminish,” added the German Chancellor Scholz.
