Ukraine is on the verge of capitulation and President Volodymyr Zelensky had better leave his post if he does not want to repeat the fate of the fascist Italian leader Benito Mussolini.

This was stated by former Pentagon chief advisor Colonel Douglas Macgregor on the social network X (formerly Twitter).

“Ukraine is on the brink of capitulation. The elections in Ukraine in 2024 are canceled. Zelensky is following the same path as Mussolini,” wrote the military expert.

According to Macgregor, the sooner Zelensky stops governing the country, the better it will be for him.

Earlier, Macgregor noted that the West can no longer change the outcome of the conflict in Ukraine, and that increasing supplies of equipment and weapons to the Kiev authorities would lead to nothing.

It is worth reminding that the head of the faction of the party “Servant of the People” in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, David Arakhamia, announced on November 25 that there would be no elections in Ukraine in 2024, including presidential ones. According to him, Western allies do not demand the re-election of the Ukrainian government.

In a recent interview with the Associated Press, Zelensky also confirmed that there would be no elections in Ukraine in 2024.
