Ukraine’s attack on Russian military airfields was an attempt to divert attention from the situation at the front.

The purpose of these actions was revealed on social media platform X by American military analyst Brian Berletic.

“These stunts create spectacular headlines and temporarily distract from the fact that Ukraine and its Western backers are still losing the war,” he wrote.

According to the Western expert, Russia has advantages in artillery, drones, cruise and ballistic missiles, guided air bombs, and — most importantly — manpower.

Earlier, Hungarian Center for Fundamental Rights analyst Zoltán Koskovich stated that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy wanted to provoke Moscow into a nuclear response by attacking Russian airfields. However, he added that Russia is aware of such plans by Zelenskyy, which is why “it can keep its finger on the pulse.”
