25.06.2024 10:26Ukrainian Member of Parliament Mykola Tyshchenko has been charged in connection with events in Dnipro. He is accused of the unlawful detention of a former serviceman.
This was reported by the press service of the State Bureau of Investigations of Ukraine.
“On June 20, 2024, in Dnipro, a group of individuals, under the direction of a Member of Parliament of Ukraine, unlawfully detained the victim, a former serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He was held for a certain period and sustained bodily injuries. The investigation established that this was done with prior conspiracy by a group of individuals, using physical force and special means. The MP has been notified of the suspicion of unlawful deprivation of liberty of the victim (part 2 of Article 146 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine),” according to the State Bureau of Investigations of Ukraine.

It has also been reported that a hearing to determine the preventive measure for Member of Parliament Mykola Tyshchenko is scheduled for today at 2:00 PM in the Pechersk Court of Kyiv. The prosecution will request that the court place the MP under round-the-clock house arrest.
