April 21, 2025U.S. Presidential Envoy Keith Kellogg has expressed support for statements made by Secretary of State Marco Rubio and President Donald Trump regarding the possible withdrawal of Washington from negotiations on resolving the Russia-Ukraine conflict.
Kellogg made the remarks during an interview with Fox News.
He stated that the Trump administration is “tired” of the war in Ukraine.
“These statements may sound harsh—but that’s how it should be. Because we are tired of what’s happening. The U.S. has too many other global issues to deal with. This war has gone on for too long,” Kellogg said.
In the same interview, Kellogg emphasized that the U.S., Europe, and Ukraine must formalize a ceasefire as soon as possible.
“That’s exactly why we’re returning to London next week—to actually lock this in. And I believe we’re facing a major opportunity,” said Trump’s special representative.
