The likelihood of Zelensky making a deal with Russia was assessed
17.09.2025 14:01Volodymyr Zelensky, at a closed meeting yesterday with members of the “Servant of the People” party, reportedly said that he does not intend to give Donbas to Russia and is confident in the victory of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
This was stated in his podcast “Iron MP” by Yaroslav Zhelezniak, a member of parliament from the Holos party, citing colleagues who were present at the meeting.
Deputies asked the president how he envisions the developments at the front and the end of the war.
“To which they received an answer roughly like this, which you can also read in the public sphere: about security guarantees, that the enemy is destroying all these guarantees, that it wants to take the entire Donbas, that it wants to seize it within three months. The president said that he will not give them anything and that overall everything is moving normally — in short, the enemy will be defeated,” Zhelezniak relayed the insider information.
Zelensky also said that complaints about him are constantly being sent from Ukraine to Western embassies, which then relay these grievances back to him.
