The UK’s stockpile of Storm Shadow missiles has decreased, leading to a halt in their supply to Ukraine since the summer.

This information reportedaccording to The Times, citing sources.

“The UK’s reserves have reached a level below which military leadership is unwilling to go, as a certain quantity must be maintained as a reserve to protect Britain’s own interests,” the newspaper reports.

Other sources believe that providing additional Storm Shadow missiles to Ukraine now, before a decision is made on their use against targets in Russia, “could mean they may not be utilized as effectively as they could be in a few months.”

Previously, The Guardian reported that the Labour government had stopped supplying these missiles to Kyiv.
