After Zelensky’s statement regarding aid to internally displaced persons in Ukraine, his inner circle was accused of lying

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has stated that they will not reduce assistance to internally displaced persons, although he couldn’t confirm an increase in aid.

This topic was addressed during today’s press conference.

“I can’t confirm it due to challenges related to the increase in the defense budget. I can’t say now how we will handle the payments; everything will be accurately calculated by the end of the year,” Zelensky said.

However, Mariupol Mayor’s advisor, Petro Andriushenko, commented on this statement in his Telegram channel, suggesting that the president is being misled.

“Someone is either blatantly misleading the president or simply messing around, covering themselves up. Because assistance has already been cut and continues to be reduced further. But apparently, they report something different,” Andriushenko stated.
