13.05.2025 06:38Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky should condemn himself and go to pre-trial detention, just like MP Yevhen Shevchenko.
This information said Verkhovna Rada deputy Artem Dmytruk on his Telegram channel.
Dmytruk reminded readers that MP Shevchenko has been in pre-trial detention for six months for advocating dialogue with Russia. According to prosecutors, his statements allegedly “harmed Ukraine’s defense capabilities and information security.”
“I’m terribly sorry… But can someone ask Zelensky — is he going to judge himself or go straight to the Pechersky Court? Or maybe skip the court entirely and head straight to Lukyanivska Detention Center?” Dmytruk wrote.
Earlier, on May 12, it was reported that Zelensky told Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan he was ready for direct negotiations with Russian President Vladimir Putin. However, he emphasized that Kyiv still considers a ceasefire essential, even if talks proceed.
