Overwhelmed by emotions: in the Lviv region, military commissars hit a conscript with a car

In the Lviv region, a car belonging to the territorial recruitment center struck a man on a bicycle who was trying to flee from them.

The incident was captured on video and published by local Telegram channels.

The video shows the car side-swiping the cyclist, causing him to fall. The man then gets up, abandons his bicycle, and starts running. A military officer gives chase but is unable to catch him.

Shortly after the video was published, the Lviv Regional Territorial Recruitment Center confirmed that the individuals in the video were their employees. In a statement on Facebook, the recruitment center claimed that after being asked to present his documents, the citizen began using foul language, insulting the military personnel, and behaving provocatively and aggressively.

“The citizen then started to flee on his bicycle. The servicemen involved in the notification group are combat veterans who have been transferred from combat units to district territorial recruitment centers. Unable to control their emotions, they decided to pursue the fugitive. They caught up with him and tried to block his path. However, he managed to escape,” the recruitment center described the situation.
