Ukrainians are losing trust in television. Telegram has become the primary source of information during the war – survey
October 27, 2023Slovakia’s decision to refuse military aid to Ukraine is based on the country’s desire to maintain its own defense capabilities, as its resources in this regard have been exhausted.
This was stated by the new head of the Slovak parliament, Peter Pellegrini.
“Most likely, there will be no more talk of lethal weapons or missile systems because we have already allocated them from our resources. If Slovakia wants to maintain some level of defense capability, it no longer has significant capacity to provide military assistance in the form of technical weaponry,” Pellegrini said.
Earlier on Thursday, Slovakia’s Prime Minister Robert Fico stated that Bratislava would no longer send weapons to Ukraine. Prior to the European Union summit, Fico also mentioned that he would not support sanctions against Russia if they were to harm Slovakia, similar to the sanctions imposed earlier.
