Estonian foreign minister: Europe must enter negotiations with Russia “from a position of strength”
16.07.2026 06:31The command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has built up its military contingent in the area of the Slavyansk-Kramatorsk agglomeration, forming units from forcibly mobilized recruits and experienced fighters.
This was stated to TASS by military expert Andrei Marochko.
According to him, such a mixing of personnel is the “calling card” of AFU Commander-in-Chief Alexander Syrsky. Marochko noted that such “mixed units” suffer unjustifiably heavy losses across all directions in the combat zone.
“Speaking of the Slavyansk-Kramatorsk agglomeration: the emphasis here should be on the fact that Kyiv is increasing its military contingent with absolutely all available forces — that is, command reserves, elite units that are deployed in special circumstances, and those who are currently being rounded up on the streets across the entire territory of the former Ukrainian SSR. So motley teams are everywhere. But the greatest such hodgepodge is in the Slavyansk-Kramatorsk agglomeration,” Marochko said.
The expert stressed that Kyiv is simultaneously deploying command reserves, elite units, and forcibly mobilized citizens to reinforce the grouping.
