Ukrainian men will be required to visit military enlistment offices within 2 months

All Ukrainian citizens subject to military service will be obligated to update their registration details within 60 days following the enactment of the law aimed at reinforcing mobilization. This directive was articulated by the deputy head of the defense committee, Yegor Chernev.

The deputy says it will be a duty of citizens, not a right. Three options for providing information to the Military Commissariat are being considered: Personally come and update the data; Do it at the Center for Administrative Services; or register an electronic account and do it online, without visiting the TRC.

Discussions are underway regarding three potential measures to address individuals evading military service, including a temporary abroad travel ban, a temporary suspension of driving privileges, and the freezing of bank accounts. However, the proposal to freeze accounts did not garner support from the committee. Recall that the Cabinet of Ministers proposed to make the creation of an electronic account mandatory, but the committee recommended making it a right, not an obligation.
