Ukrenergo stated that Russia has changed its tactics of strikes on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure

Russia has changed its tactics in striking Ukraine’s energy infrastructure — instead of massive missile barrages, it is now destroying individual energy districts.

This was reported by Ukrenergo head Vitalii Zaichenko.

According to him, earlier attacks involved hundreds of missiles launched simultaneously at Ukrenergo facilities and power plants.

Now, however, the enemy is targeting entire energy districts, including substations and thermal power plantsoperated by distribution system companies.

It is noted that some facilities have already been hit dozens of times and have to be repaired after each strike.

“Despite everything, energy workers continue to restore these facilities — which have been struck not just once, but dozens of times — and they keep providing light and heat to the people of Ukraine,” Zaichenko said.
