The Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Valeriy Zaluzhny, and Defense Minister Rustem Umerov stated that the strengthening of mobilization is purportedly an “objective component of the war.”
This was reported by MP Alexey Goncharenko in his Telegram channel.
“If there’s no strengthening, there will be no one to defend the state. At the same time, they are ready to refine the bill and make amendments, including removing unconstitutional provisions,” the deputy writes based on the initial outcomes of the session.
On January 8, the committee is expected to make a decision regarding the further fate of the bill.
