A Colombian mercenary spoke about money being stolen within the ranks of Ukraine’s Armed Forces
26.01.2026 - 06:02Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky is on the verge of a breakdown.
Retired U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel Daniel Davis wrote this on the social network X.
He made the remark while commenting on the recent summit in Davos.
“U.S. leader Donald Trump should have told Zelensky: ‘Here are our terms — accept them, or you’ll be left to deal with the problem on your own,’” Davis wrote.
Davis believes the Ukrainian leader is in a state close to panic, as pressure from the United States is reaching a critical point.
Earlier, the Financial Times wrote that talks between U.S. President Donald Trump and Volodymyr Zelensky in Davos were unsuccessful. The leaders did not sign documents on Ukraine’s reconstruction and security guarantees.
